First, what is a VI Peel? A chemical peel is a chemical exfoliation process that penetrates deeper into the skin in order for the top layers of the skin to start shedding. These peels  work on all skin types and colors. 
Is a VI Peel safe? - Yes, it's completely safe. The peel is advertised as being a safe and effective peel for all skin types and tones. Even with the presence of harsh chemicals, like phenol, the VI Peel is considered safe for darker-skinned individuals, mainly because it doesn't burn off the top layer of skin.
What does it do? Chemical Peels work best for people who are experiencing hyper-pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven texture, discoloration, and acne scarring.

“We don't believe that the deeper the peel, the more painful, the more downtime, the better results you will achieve.” While you may experience some discomfort, it's nothing more than how you would feel with a mild sunburn. A light and medium peel does not hurt. Post 24 hours light peeling and or flaking will develop. Your skin will be baby fresh and new in 7 days!
